"Promoting biotechnology in sustainable agriculture. The Agricultural Biotechnology Council (abc) is the umbrella group for the agricultural biotechnology industry in the UK." Members include  BASF, Bayer CropSciences, Dow AgroSciences LLC, Pioneer, Monsanto and Syngenta. abc is a member itself of EuropaBio.

"Science for life. Bio is the world's largest biotechnology organization, providing advocacy, business development and communications services for more than 1,100 members worldwide."

"Making the case for crop biotechnology. A consumer and media information initiative, CropGen's mission is to make the case for GM crops and foods by helping to achieve a greater measure of realism and better balance in the UK's public discussions on agriculture and food." Funded by the biotech industry.

"The European Association for Bioindustries. EuropaBio has 66 corporate and 7 associate members operating worldwide, 4 Bioregions and 22 national biotechnology associations representing some 1800 small and medium sized enterprises."

Members include the National Farmers Union (NFU), the British Society of Plant Breeders (BSPB), the Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) and the Crop Protection Association (CPA).
