Joining GM Freeze as an organisation

GM Freeze is the umbrella campaign for a moratorium on GM in UK food and farming. If your charity, company, social group, business, campaign group or organisation of any kind believes that our food should be produced fairly, responsibly and sustainably then please join GM Freeze to show your support, help guide our work and stay in touch.

To sign up please complete our membership application form and send with your payment to GM Freeze, c/o 145 Moorland Road, Cardiff, CF24 2LG. Call us on 0845 217 8992 (see below), or email raoul[at] for a chat about how membership might work for you.

Why join GM Freeze?

By consulting with the membership, GM Freeze can act as a common and united voice, representing the interests of members and their supporters to policy makers within government and elsewhere, on the issue of GM in food and farming.

Members receive complimentary copies of every publication produced by GM Freeze, including Thin Ice newsletters, leaflets, campaign materials and briefings.

We keep members up to date with news and events as well as our campaign plans. We support members with specialist tasks like consultation responses, provide speakers for their events, share ideas and work together to make sure we achieve more than the sum of our parts.

Joining GM Freeze will place your organisation at the the heart of a campaign for a fairer, more sustainable, more responsible food system.

There is a fee for joining GM Freeze, on a sliding scale to reflect your organisation's turnover. Please see the membership form for details. Membership fees are an important source of funding to pay for our resources, campaigns and other work but if they are a barrier to your organisation signing up, please get in touch on 0845 217 8992 or raoul[at] to discuss your circumstances.

Rights and obligations of members
